4. Licensing Body
Maria Strong is licensed as Insolvency Practitioners in the United Kingdom by the ICAEW licence number 1647. Details may be found on The Insolvency Service Register of Insolvency Practitioners which can be accessed here.
5. Rules Governing Actions
All Insolvency Practitioners are bound by the rules of their professional body, including any that relate specifically to insolvency. The rules of the professional body that licences Strong-Anderson IP can be found at here.
Insolvency Practitioners are bound by the Statements of Insolvency Practice (SIPs), details of which can be found at here.
6. Ethics

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
English law shall apply to the construction and interpretation of our contract with you and the English Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any disputes under it. The Courts of England will have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any claim, dispute or difference concerning our Engagement Letter and any matter arising from it. Each party irrevocably waives any right it may have to object to any action being brought in those courts, to claim that the action has been brought in an inappropriate forum, or to claim that those courts do not have jurisdiction.
10.Professional Indemnity Insurance
Strong Andersons’s Professional Indemnity Insurance is provided by Marsh Commercial Ltd, Castlemead, Lower Castle Street,, Bristol, BS1 3AG QBE. This professional indemnity insurance provides worldwide coverage excluding professional business carried out from an office in the United States of America or Canada, and any action for a claim bought in any court in the United States of America or Canada.
11. Quality of Services
In order for us to provide you with a high quality service on an ongoing basis it is essential that you provide us with relevant records and information when requested, reply to correspondence in a timely manner and otherwise follow the terms of the agreement between us as set out in this Standard Terms of Business and associated Engagement letter.
We always strive to provide a professional and efficient service. However, we recognise that it is in the nature of insolvency proceedings for disputes to arise from time to time. As such, should you have any comments or complaints regarding the administration of a particular case then in the first instance you should email mariastrong@strong-anderson.co.uk.
Most disputes can be resolved amicably either through the provision of further information or following negotiations. However, in the event that you have exhausted our complaints procedure and you are not satisfied that your complaint has been resolved or dealt with appropriately, you may complain to the regulatory body that licences the insolvency practitioner concerned.
